Organic Turmeric Root & Extract with Astaxanthin

This formulation comes with both organic turmeric root and organic turmeric standardized extract. As a joint supplement turmeric is a must have supplement. This particular formulation also comes with astaxanthin which I know less about, but find that there is a great deal of information on the it available from trusted sources on the web. Organic black pepper extract is added to help with absorption. Comes in a glass bottle which I realize may seem silly but I figured I'd mention it since I can't remember the last time I had a supplement come in a glass bottle. According to the label this is USDA Organic. It also states on the label that is comes from a FDA registered facility that adheres to GMP (good manufacturing processes). 90 capsules in the bottle which works out to a 30 day supply at the recommended 3 pills/days.

Great Ingredients & Results!

I love how effective these supplements are. I have wanted to try tumeric supplements as an alternative to advil for muscle and body inflammation and for the over all well-being properties tumeric is said to have in reducing stress and anxiety. The pills leave a slight yellow color behind in my hand and have a taste/odor of tumeric that immediately goes away and doesn't burp or linger. I like that this is a sign of pure, organic ingredients. I have noticed after a week of use that I do feel more mood balanced and less inflammed in my muscles after strong workouts.

Just ordered my 2nd bottle, I’ve been taking it along with a prenatal vitamin, I’m not pregnant but I’ve heard that they’re good for menopausal women so I decided to try it and it works! I was constantly massaging the back of my knees and since taking this regimen I realized I haven’t been needing to!

Having the supplements I take be organic as much as possible is important to me. So I was pleased to find this bottle with USDA organic turmeric and black pepper. I would rather the Astaxanthin be organic as well but I am not sure how that is produced. The product page indicates also that this product is 100% vegan, gluten free and non-GMO but those are not listed on the bottle. I appreciate too that the manufacturer has not put a lot of other stuff in this formula only the vegetable capsule and rice flour.These capsules are average in size and swallow easily with any liquid. They have little odor. They smell similar to what my spice cabinet smells like. The quantities of each ingredient seem to be just the right amount for what I need. The directions on the bottle say to take 3 capsules per day which isn’t bad.It is difficult to assess just what this supplement is doing for me as some results are not always visible. Though I have noticed since I have been taking it that my knees are not bothering me as much when I go up and down stairs. I think because it has reduced the inflammation in them. I have also been more alert and had more energy throughout my day. There may be more results as I continue to take this supplement over time. I have had no negative effects.Over all this seems to be a pretty good buy for the amount of turmeric and Astaxanthin in it. I think it is well worth purchasing again just to keep the pain away in my knees.
