I've been taking this supplement for several days now...as I normally take a different brand for turmeric and the benefits that it does for the body. I don't see much of a difference between the two brand, but this supplement has Astaxanthin which is new to me. I didn't have any side effects with Astaxanthin and it's too early to see/feel any benefits. For each pill you get 500mg of Turmeric and 4mg of Astaxanthin. I'm recovering from a sinus cold and I'll see if it helps with my immune system...I'll update the 4 star rating if I see an improvement.

This particular formulation also comes with astaxanthin which I know less about, but find that there is a great deal of information on the it available from trusted sources on the web. Organic black pepper extract is added to help with absorption. Comes in a glass bottle which I realize may seem silly but I figured I'd mention it since I can't remember the last time I had a supplement come in a glass bottle. According to the label this is USDA Organic. It also states on the label that is comes from a FDA registered facility that adheres to GMP (good manufacturing processes). 90 capsules in the bottle which works out to a 30 day supply at the recommended 3 pills/days.

I have wanted to try tumeric supplements as an alternative to advil for muscle and body inflammation and for the over all well-being properties tumeric is said to have in reducing stress and anxiety.
